THE KEYS TO HEAVEN’S DOOR

We are living in a time when just about everyone wants to go
to heaven. It seems like everybody is talking about being born again.
Most folk’s talk like it is going to be a free ride right through
heaven’s door and people seem to think that everybody is going to be
allowed through the door that leads to Heavens Holy City. The truth of
the matter is much different. The way to God’s holy heaven is strictly
laid out in a roadmap called THE HOLY BIBLE. The popular belief that
everybody is going to end up in heaven is a false doctrine. The Bible
says in Matthew 20:16, “…for many are called but few chosen.” We read clearly that a
lot of folks feel God dealing with their soul to come to Him and to work
for Him, but only a very few ever do. I trust that you, dear Reader,
are interested in being born again like the Bible says so that someday
you will be allowed into God’s Holy City. If you are interested in
finding out how to become a real born again Christian, and you can
unlock Heaven’s door, then I want to encourage you to read on further.
My dear Readers if you plan to go to Heaven with the Saints of
God then you will have to enter in through the door. Eternal life with
joy and peace, living with God forever is no different. Heaven has a
door but it is not like most doors made of wood or metal. Heaven’s door
is the LORD JESUS CHRIST. God has a specific plan of Salvation and He
expects you and me to obey it if He is going to let us into the Holy
City. Let’s look at John 10:1-9. (1)
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into
the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a
robber. (2) But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the
sheep. (3) To HIM the porter openeth: and the sheep hear HIS VOICE: and
HE calleth HIS OWN SHEEP by His Name, and leadeth them out. (4) And
when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep
follow him: for they know his voice. (5) And a stranger will they not
follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of
strangers. (6) This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood
not what things they were which He spake unto them. (7) Then said Jesus
unto them again, verily verily, I say unto you, I AM THE DOOR OF THE
SHEEP. (8) All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the
sheep did not hear them. (9) I AM THE DOOR: by me if any man enter in,
HE SHALL BE SAVED, and shall go in and out and find pasture.”
We read in verse #1 that if any man tries to enter into the
sheepfold by any other way other than the door he is considered the same
as a thief and robber. We all know that no thief or robber will ever be
allowed into God’s Holy City. God is simply saying to us that if we
plan to have eternal life with Him then we are going to have to obey the
plan of salvation in the Bible. In verse # 7 Jesus said,
“I AM THE DOOR OF THE SHEEP.” Jesus
clearly taught this in John 14:16 when He said,
“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: NO MAN
cometh unto the Father but by me.” Jesus Christ is the only
door or way to eternal life. We all know that most doors have locks on
them and in order for us to open the door we must have a set of keys.
It is the very same when it comes to unlocking the door of eternal
life! You must have the right set of keys to open the door to
eternal life. We read in Matthew 16:13-19 about the Keys to Eternal
Life and about the great apostle that God gave the keys to the kingdom
to.
(13) “When Jesus came into the coast of Caesarea
Phi-lip-pi, He asked His disciples, saying whom do men say that I the
Son of Man am? (14) And they said, some say that thou art John the
Baptist; some, Eli-as; and others, Jer-e-mi-as, or one of the prophets.
(15) He saith unto them, but who say ye that I am? (16) And Simon Peter
answered and said; Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. (17)
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jo-na;
for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which
is in heaven. (18) And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and
upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not
prevail against it. (19) And I will give unto thee THE KEYS OF THE
KINGDOM OF HEAVEN: And whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be
bound in heaven: And whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shalt be
loosed in heaven.”
Jesus was asking His disciples who the people thought that he
was. Different ones said different things until finally Simon Peter
spoke up in verse # 16 “Thou art the Christ,
the Son of the Living God.” Jesus replied that Peter was
blessed because that most folks did not realize who Jesus really was.
Most church folks today fail to realize who Jesus really is. Jesus said
to Peter, “flesh and blood hath not revealed
it unto thee, but my Father which art in heaven.”
I am so thankful that I received this SAME REVELATION just like
the apostle did and you can too my dear friend. Jesus also said to
Peter in verse #18 “…upon this rock I will
build my church.” A lot of misguided folks believe that the
church was founded upon the apostle Peter but this is also false
doctrine. God’s true Church is built on the Rock and the Rock that He
is speaking about is THE PERSONAL REVELATION from God of who Jesus
really was and still is today! Jesus is the Christ, the Saviour of the
world. In verse # 19 we read “and I will
give unto thee the Keys of the
Kingdom of Heaven…”
Jesus was saying to Peter that He would be the very first one that God
would use to reveal THE TRUE PLAN OF SALVATION. Jesus had already
taught in John 3:5 “…EXCEPT a man BE BORN OF
WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT HE CANNOT ENTER INTO THE
KINGDOM OF GOD.”
Jesus was soon crucified but
He told His disciples to “tarry ye in the
city of
Jerusalem…”
(Luke 24:49) until the New Testament Church was born. They waited in
the upper room until the great day came. ACTS 2:1-4
“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come,
they were all with one accord in one place. (2) And suddenly there came
a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the
house where they were sitting. (3) And there appeared unto them cloven
tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. (4) And they
were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other
tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” We read here
that they were “ALL FILLED WITH THE HOLY
GHOST”… AND THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH WAS BORN! We read in
this chapter where the man Jesus had chosen to give the keys to the
kingdom of heaven preached the first message under grace. Let’s read
the closing part of this first and great message in ACTS 2:36-42.
(36) “Therefore let all the house of
Israel know
assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified,
BOTH LORD AND CHRIST. (37) Now when they heard this, they were
pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the
apostles, Men and brethren, WHAT SHALL WE DO? (38) Then Peter said unto
them, REPENT, and BE BAPTIZED EVERYONE OF YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS
CHRIST for the remission of sins, and YE SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE
HOLY GHOST. (39) For THE PROMISE IS UNTO YOU, and to your children, and
to all that are afar off, even as many as THE LORD OUR GOD SHALL CALL.
(40) And with many other words did he testify, and exhort, saying, SAVE
YOURSELVES from this untoward generation. (41) Then they that gladly
received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto
them about three thousand souls. (42) And THEY CONTINUED STEADASTLY IN
THE APOSTLES DOCTRINE and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in
prayers.” We read in verse
#36 “that God hath made that same Jesus…both
Lord and Christ.” We read in verse #37 that
“they were pricked in their heart, and said unto
Peter…WHAT SHALL WE DO?”
These people was asking how that they could unlock the door so that they
could enter into eternal life. God used Peter just like He said he
would to reveal THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. In verse #38 Peter
preached THE ONLY TRUE PLAN OF SALVATION ever revealed from God to
mankind in this time of grace. If you ever enter into the kingdom of
heaven you will have to come the Bible way. Peter preached in verse
#38 … “REPENT.”
True repentance is the FIRST KEY to
heavens door. You MUST BE SORRY FOR YOUR SINS and be willing to
FORSAKE ALL OF YOUR KNOWN SINS. He continued to preach
“BE BAPTIZED EVERYONE OF YOU IN THE NAME OF
JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins.”
This is the SECOND KEY to heaven’s door
and we see clearly that the Bible teaches WATER BAPTISM BY IMMERSION IN
THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST (not some titles such as Father, Son or Holy
Ghost). We also see clearly from the Bible that WATER BAPTISM IS
NECESSARY FOR SALVATION because Peter said “EVERYONE
OF YOU.” Peter also
preached that WATER BAPTISM WAS FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS.” It is not
just for a symbol or for a public example but IT IS WHEN YOUR SINS ARE
FORGIVEN AND WASHED AWAY IN JESUS NAME! Peter being filled with the
Holy Ghost preached later on in ACTS 4:12
“neither is there SALVATION IN ANY OTHER: FOR THERE IS NONE OTHER NAME
under heaven given among men WHEREBY WE MUST BE SAVED.”
Peter went on to preach the THIRD KEY
to Heavens door when he said, “Ye shall receive the gift of the Holy
Ghost.” A lot of folks are all confused about the Holy
Ghost. Many teach that it is not for us today but my dear reader this
is another false doctrine. Peter continued to preach in verse
#39 “for THE PROMISE IS UNTO YOU, AND TO YOUR
CHILDREN, (The Next Generation) AND TO ALL THAT ARE AFAR OFF, EVEN AS
MANY AS THE LORD OUR GOD SHALL CALL.” The Holy Ghost is for
everyone that will believe and YOU MUST HAVE IT to enter heavens door.
Please notice in verse #41 that “they that gladly received his word were
baptized and the same day there were added unto them about three
thousand souls.” God’s TRUE CHURCH started in an UPPER ROOM in a HOUSE
located in JERUSALEM and NOT IN ROME like many blind folks are
teaching. Most Church folks are following the ANTI-CHRIST CHRIST from
Rome instead of preaching THE TRUE PLAN OF SALVATION found in Acts
2:38. This was the first gospel message UNDER GRACE and GOD HAS NOT
CHANGED HIS PLAN SINCE THAT DAY. (SEE Hebrews 13:8 and Malachi 3:6).
Dear reader, PRECIOUS NEVER DYING SOUL, I plead with you today as the
Apostle Peter once did to take these THREE KEYS TO HEAVENS DOOR so that
you may “SAVE YOURSELVES from this untoward generation. ACTS 2:40.
Dear Reader YOU CAN HAVE ETERNAL LIFE just like the Bible says IF you
will do it just like the Bible says. I plead with you TODAY to REPENT
and BE BAPTIZED in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins
and SEEK GOD FOR THE REAL HOLY GHOST like they got in ACTS 2:4.
Remember, if you want to go to God’s holy heaven then
YOU MUST OBEY GOD’S HOLY WORD.
If you try to enter in the
kingdom of God
ANY OTHER WAY you are just like a thief and a robber and we know that NO
THIEF OR ROBBER WILL EVER ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.
